He said: "You are the greatest hero of my life"
I said: "I've never done anything HERO-worthy in either of our entire lives"
He said - "Yeah you do. You always love me."
I said - "I do love you. That doesn't make me a hero."
He said - "It does to me....so hang up now."
I said, "Happy Birthday! I love you!"
...and then I hung up knowing that I was just given THE GIFT today....even though it was his birthday...
